... poems for the walls of a new community space

NORTHFLEET CENTRAL is a community space in an old church in Northfleet.

In 2017 Barry was commissioned by Northfleet Big Local to write about the local area. 

 

As ever, in order to get to know a new place, Barry made several visits to Northfleet, spoke to locals about the area, spent time walking around and researching it online; then wrote three poems.

 

These were printed on metal signs then put on the walls of their community space - Northfleet Central - as pictured!
