Sam Hall has written a number of short plays for children and young people from ages 7 and upwards.

Sam has experience in devising and writing plays for small and large groups of children and young people.

She has written four 20-minute plays for ICON Youth Theatre.

In December 2014, she wrote HOW THE GARGOYLE GOT HER WINGS for performers aged 7-9 and SUPERHEROES ANONYMOUS, for performers aged 10-12, incorporating the story and characters which the children had come up with.

In June 2015, she wrote SWAMP ROMP for performers aged 10-12 and SHIPSHAPE SHENANIGANS for performers aged 7-9. Both were devised with input from the children, with Sam shaping the narrative and fleshing out the characters.

Sam also assisted with Medway's 'The id Project' - a writing project for girls and young women aged 16 to 21, and wrote scenes for the project's collaborative play MISSING.
